Mike Heidelberg
coachmike@rvyriptide.orgMike is the team's head coach. He coaches the Girls team, and runs the Senior 2 practices. He has been involved with Riptide as a swimmer and coach for well over a dozen year, attending 10 Nationals. In 1995, while the team was still known as Central Jersey, he served as the boy's team and National Team Captain, as well as being named Mr. Nationals. He served as an assistant coach from 1997 until 2002, under former head coaches Scott and Irina, and was named Head Coach in the summer of 2002. Mike has also coached the New Jersey Masters Swim Team, Brookside Swim Team and the Frog Hollow Swim Team. Mike is a graduate of Rutgers University and is currently employed as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher in Perth Amboy.
Lynette Mullins
coachlynette@rvyriptide.orgLynette coaches the Tidal Wave practice group. She was a four year swimmer at Bishop George Ahr High School, and a Riptide swimmer from 1995 until she graduated in 2005. In the 2004 and 2005 swim seasons she was captain of the Coed Team. She swam for the Village Swim Team for 10 years and is now the assistant coach. Lynette is currently studying at Middlesex County College and is employed by the Children's House Montessori School in Highland Park.
Laurie Sieminski

Jessica Umbriac
coachjessica@rvyriptide.orgJess coaches the Junior swimmers during practice, and along with her husband Nathan, is the boys team coach. She was a four year swimmer at North Brunswick High School, and a Riptide swimmer from 1990 until she graduated in 1999. She swam for four years at Seton Hall University, was co-captain her senior year, and is the current school record holder in the 50 freestyle. Jess likes her pug Ozzie and kitten Bonnie, the color purple, and spending time with husband, Nathan.
Nathan Umbriac
coachnathan@rvyriptide.orgNathan coaches the Senior swimmers during practice, and along with his wife Jessica, is the boys team coach. He swam competitively for 15 years on USS, YMCA and high school teams in Pennsylvania. Like Jess, he swam for four years at Seton Hall University and was co-captain his senior year. Nathan enjoys playing video games, watching anything on ESPN, and spending time with Jessica and their furry family.
